  • September 18, 2007: IQ Storage's CEO, Simon Lightstone speaks in front of the ITAC Cyber Security Forum in Ottawa regarding storage security and emerging storage technologies.
  • July 5, 2007: IQ Storage offers a free 7-day trial on its IQ Storage Backup service. As a limited time offer, IQ Storage FTP customers receive a 40% discount on all IQ Storage Backup services until August 1, 2007.
  • June 18, 2007: Simon Lightstone, IQ Storage's CEO meets with a team from the Ontario Privacy Commissioner's office to present issues regarding the enforcement of PHIPA-compliance and strong security standards among its clientele. As a service provider, IQ Storage tries to ensure that all clientele meet the necessary data security guidelines for their respective industry. 
  • June 12, 2007: IQ Storage announces that the introduction of IQ Storage Backup packages for instant Internet sign-up will be released by the end of Q3. Currently, IQ Storage Backup is available through telephone sales channels and corporate marketing efforts.
  • May 28, 2007: IQ Storage sets another record month in revenues. Expectations are to continue growth seen in Q1.
  • May 15, 2007: IQ Storage officially announces the world's first human data courier services, JohnnyData. The service leverages IQ Storage's internal intercontinental network backbone to transport enormous amounts of data within less than a day between most major cities in North America. The service is designed to accommodate media companies who require instant delivery of digital material as well as corporate clients with large differential backups that need offsite storage. IQ Storage is forming an alliance with a key technology company in Los Angeles, California. Hollywood, in LA, is the hub of the world's film industry and transports massive amounts of digital goods every day by traditional couriers and mail. 
  • April 29, 2007: Additional office location opened at 346 Davenport Road to accommodate the growth of IQ Storage's corporate sales efforts.
  • March 27, 2007: IQ Storage announces record-breaking growth at the end of the first quarter.
  • March 14, 2007: Paul Mighton, former VP of corporate marketing at Versa Systems is hired as the new VP for corporate marketing and accelerated growth into the enterprise-wide backup solutions sector. Paul Mighton was part of the team of specialists that acquired Versa from KPMG. Paul's work as VP at Versa contributed to the stability, growth and profitability of Versa's software development products and sales to over 37 US state government agencies providing government licensing and workers compensation software solutions.
  • February 15, 2007: Revenue estimates for IQ Storage are above expectation. First quarter revenues are expected to set new records.
